Glimpses of Glory!!
Yesterday the phrase "glimpses of glory" kept running through my mind. So many times I live frustrated by the difficulties of life. It's easy to do. Daily frustrations seem to pile up. And yet God opens the window to heaven on a daily basis. When we see "glimpses of glory" the frustrations, difficulties, trials fade away. That was what was on my brain yesterday morning.
Last night my kids ran inside to get me and tell me to come outside quickly. Usually that means someone has blood gushing from some part of their body. Or, someone has done something they shouldn't have done. So I ran outside.
And I ran right smack into a glimpse of glory!! The sky looked like it had exploded. It was spectacular!! It was one of those moments where you think your heart is going to explode into a million pieces. And to make it even more amazing my kids ran to get me because they wanted to share it with me...and my heart explodes with joy even more!!
So I am on a treasure hunt today.....looking for a glimpses of glory!!
"For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us."
